The unusual form of Split-cup Daffodils gave rise to another name, the Butterfly (or Papillon) Daffodils. Their cups are separated into broad segments that seem to rest on the outer petals, thus resembling the insects' delicate wings. We assemble our bulb mix from at least 6 different Butterfly Daffodil varieties, chosen from the various color combinations possible in the group—white/orange, white/pink, white/yellow, yellow/orange, white/reddish orange, and yellow/yellow. Not labeled individually. Midseason to late midseason. 25 bulbs cover 5–6 sq ft.
