This is the compact, multi-stemmed form of the Areca palm (Dypsis lutescens), built in LDPE with integrated RealTex foliage. Fronds carry real colour variation rather than one flat green, arching from a dense base so the palm reads as full from floor level rather than a bare stem with a tuft on top.
Fills the corner without taking it over. At 120cm tall and 75cm across, it holds a corner beside a sofa or reception desk without crowding it.

Can the 120cm Areca Palm go outside?
Only where it never gets direct sun, such as a covered verandah. RealTex foliage is not UV rated and sustained Australian sun will fade it. For balconies, courtyards and poolside positions, the UVTex outdoor range is built for it.
Will it actually look real, or obviously artificial?
Flat single-tone colour and a thin, bare base are what give artificial palms away. RealTex carries colour gradation and texture through the frond rather than printing it on the surface, and the multi-stem build gives density from floor level up. Spreading the fronds unevenly on arrival makes the most difference.
How much space does it need?
Allow roughly 75cm of width and 65cm of depth for the fronds at full spread, and 120cm of height including the pot. It suits standard 2.4m ceilings. The pot is only 15cm wide, so most of the footprint is foliage.
