Ladybugs are general predators from the beetle family. Ladybugs feed on aphids and a variety of slow moving soft bodied insects during their adult and larval stages. Ladybugs are a must have for organic gardening / farming. Favorite foods: aphids, moth eggs, mites, thrips, leaf hoppers, mealybug, chinch bugs, asparagus beetle larvae, whitefly and other soft body insects.
- Release early in the morning or at dusk when temperatures are cooler
- Store in refrigerator until use
- Water your garden prior to release so the ladybugs have something to drink
- Availability: If and when we have this in stock, it will only be during the spring season until sold out.
Ladybugs are stored at our floral & home store at 744 N. Damen and kept cool. It is recommended for pick up and to note that they need to be brought home right away as when they are warmed they will become active and start looking for food. Delivery is not recommended due to transit time.
