Sinningia often reach to about 12" tall at maturity it has large rounded tubers with stems and leaves of silver to green, often pubescent (fuzzy). Clusters of flowers will emerge in early summer and are often orange to salmon-pink. As it is a tuberous plant give it a dormancy period. During the dormancy period it might drop its leaves to sleep.
This plant can cross polinate and breed very easily so the assortment available often includes S. leucotricha, S. wedermanii, S. bullata and some crosses.
